Alaska Literacy Report – In 2004, the Alaska Native Policy Center at First Alaskans Institute developed a research project to identify Pre-K through 3rd Grade literacy programs operating throughout Alaska. Literacy Programs were surveyed and eleven characteristics of literacy programs were described. This link will provide you with the eleven characteristics and a link to download the report.
