About the Alaska Comprehensive Center

The Alaska Comprehensive Center (ACC) at SERRC - Alaska's Educational Resource Center serves the State of Alaska, in partnership with the Education Northwest, 16 Regional Comprehensive Centers and 5 Content Centers. The ACC provides assistance to the Alaska Department of Education and Early Development (EED) to help implement the provisions of the federal No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act and improve student achievement statewide.

Mission
The Alaska Comprehensive Center (ACC) offers technical assistance to the Alaska Department of Education & Early Development (EED) that focuses on increasing EED's capacity to provide support to Alaska's school districts and, most notably, its at-risk schools.   The ultimate goal is that this support will contribute to EED's ability to help schools improve and raise student achievement.
